Gowri Jayan is from the strikingly beautiful God's own country, Kerala. She was born and brought up in the capital city of the state Trivandrum. She completed her schooling and graduation from the same city and is currently pursuing her post-graduation from Pondicherry University. She is motivated by her love for learning and succeeding as she tries to become an outstanding and successful woman in today's society. Her love for poetry began in her early twenties and she has a great passion for teaching.
