Kavyanjali Joshi
"For I put forth my hands to let you perceive green!"
Kavyanjali Joshi, a young poet from the picturesque village of Sumari in Srinagar Garhwal, found her love for poetry after reading Roald Dahl’s "Television" in school. Her name, meaning "An offering to poetry," reflects her deep connection to verse, which nurtures her soul and provides a sense of euphoria amid the mundane. A student at Hansraj College, she skillfully balances her scientific studies with her poetic passion, drawing inspiration from nature and the natural world. Music, especially songs with meaningful lyrics like “Tera Mujhse Hai Pehle Ka Naata Koi,” also provides solace. Despite the coldness of her Himalayan home, she carries warmth and wildflowers in her heart.
